Dear customers please note that a system error occurred on our Bitnik device (Location: Hostel Tresor , Čopova 38 , Ljubljana) in the period from 4th of December until 18th of December 2014: the price of Bitcoin during that period was not automatically actualised.
This means the damage went in both directions: from 4th of December until 8th of December 2014, when the value of bitcoin was rising, the Bitnik device charged a lower price for purchased bitcoins, and from 8th of December and until 18th of December (when the error was finally discovered and resolved – thanks to everyone who contacted us and pointed it out) when the price of bitcoin was dropping slightly, the Bitnik device charged a bit too much for the purchase of bitcoins.
We kindly ask everyone who bought bitcoins on our Bitnik device during the time period from 8th of December until 18th of December 2014, to contact us at: email@example.com in order to individually arrange the procedure and the return of money in case of overcharged bitcoin price in the given period. Please spread the news among friends, especially if you think they purchased some bitcoins on Bitnik during that period! We apologize for the inconvenience, we thank you for your understanding and once again we would like to thank everyone who contacted us and pointed out the error that occurred!
By now, the error was successfully resolved and the bitcoin price on our Bitnik device updates correctly and regularly.
As an apology and to mark the holiday spirit, we would like to further announce, that from today, 22th of December 2014 until including 5th of January 2015, we are reducing the fee for bitcoins on our Bitnik device by 50%.
